Katie Dillon promotes the Barbara Lee Political Office’s mission to elect progressive, Democratic, pro-choice women through administrative and logistical support to the Executive Director and program team.
Prior to joining the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, Katie worked as a press intern in Boston Mayor Martin J Walsh’s press office, where she assisted his press team in writing and editing press releases, and interfacing with reporters. She also worked as a press and communications co-op in Governor Patrick’s Press Office in 2013, and served as the co-op on the Communications team for Housing and Economic Development Secretary Greg Bialecki in 2014. In both offices she provided communications support including event planning and implementation, preparing Governor’s briefings, and writing press releases and other communications materials.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and public policy from Northeastern University.
