Maggie knows how to solve problems the New Hampshire way – reaching across party lines to help hard-working Granite Staters succeed in our changing economy so that everyone has the opportunity to get ahead and stay ahead. Maggie is running for United States Senate to fight to ensure that Washington does better for all of New Hampshire’s families and small businesses.
Maggie Hassan was drawn to public service as an advocate fighting to ensure that children like her son Ben, who experiences severe disabilities, would be fully included in their communities and have the same opportunities that all parents want for their children.
She has continued working to ensure that all Granite Staters have the same opportunity that Ben did, serving for three terms in the New Hampshire State Senate and now as the 81st Governor of New Hampshire.
Maggie will bring her bipartisan approach, common sense and commitment to problem solving to the United States Senate to take on corporate special interests and get results for hard-working New Hampshire families and small businesses.
